Alessandro Mario Amoroso

Alessandro Mario Amoroso is a Ph.D. candidate in Human Rights and Global Politics at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. His research project focuses on the international law applicable to State – armed group partnerships in warfare. Alessandro has been a Legal Adviser with the International Committee of the Red Cross at the Paris regional delegation and a Programme Officer with the Security and Law Programme at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy. His main fields of research are international humanitarian law, human rights, international criminal law, and international law on the use of force. Alessandro holds an LL.M. from the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights and a Law degree from the University of Naples Federico II.
