The UNIBO Department of Legal Studies promotes and coordinates research activities in all scientific and disciplinary branches of law. It provides for a vast educational and training offer, ranging from bachelor courses to post-graduate and vocational programs. The Department is inspired by a strong commitment towards internationalization and participates in many European and international initiatives and networks. It also fosters innovation by addressing some key new areas of interest that require legal responses and approaches. It works with a view to creating fruitful synergies amongst its staff members and with other Departments and Universities. Besides that, one of the core missions of the Department is to make progress towards the establishment of stronger bounds between the academic world, on the one hand, and business, society and schools, on the other.
