Prof. Andrea de Guttry

Full professor of Public International Law

Principal Investigator in the Research Project CBRN-ITALY

 

Andrea de Guttry is Full Professor of International Law (since 2004) and the Head the International and EU law Area of the Global Security and Human Rights Laboratory at the Institute of Law, Politics and Development of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA), in Pisa. Since 2014, he serves as the Director of the same Institute, leading a group of 40 academic staff and 10 administrative staff and managing an overall budget of about 3 million Euros on an annual basis. Since 2000, he is Deputy-director of SSSA and Director of the Masters and Training Division of SSSA, coordinating about 10 master and 80 training courses every year. He is Director of the International Training Programme on Crisis Management at SSSA, managing a budget of about 1,5 million euro annually and coordinating about 50 training courses worldwide. He has been the Coordinator of a FP7 (European Union's Research and Innovation

funding programme for 2007-2013) project and he coordinated and implemented several research projects and about 700 Training activities in Europe and abroad.
